Dr. Jennifer Sell serves as the Executive Director for the Statewide Field Team at Calhoun Intermediate School District. She oversees the Technical Assistance Grant and provides leadership to the Statewide Field Team. Her personal "why" is to help districts implement and sustain equitable systems that support all learners and intensify growth at all levels. This “why” has guided her throughout her 31 years in education and led her to take on this very important role on the Statewide Field Team. Prior to coming to this position, her experiences range from being a teacher and principal for a large urban school district in Texas (85,000+ students), a principal for a small rural school district in northern Michigan, and supporting roles in the areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and leadership development with her latest as the Assistant Superintendent at Calhoun ISD. Dr. Sell received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Michigan State University, her Master's in Educational Leadership from The University of North Texas, and her Education Specialist and Doctoral Degrees from Central Michigan University.
