The Statewide Field Team exists to build capacity in leaders at the state, regional, district, and building level to support implementation, continuous improvement, and sustainable systems.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) is to provide statewide training/professional learning and technical assistance along with fiduciary responsibilities to support local school districts and ISDs with schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI), and Additional Targeted Support (ATS).

Three Core Services

  1. Training, Technical Assistance (TA), Professional Learning (PL), and support for continuous improvement and implementation science within a systems context in partnership with the MDE

  2. Assist the MDE and the PPOCs (CSPCs and PALs) in their efforts to support districts with identified schools; work collaboratively with the MDE to provide training, TA, and support

  3. Provide fiscal agent services to the above-named supports and services as well as MDE-defined projects

    • African American Student Initiative (AASI)

    • Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring System (EWIMS)

    • MDE Contractors
