Collaborative Learning Cycle

Online Learning begins March 16 and ends May 11

Powerful data conversations can lead to powerful changes in instruction and dramatic improvement in student achievement. This online course focuses on what an effective data conversation looks like using Wellman and Lipton’s Collaborative Learning Cycle as well as how to facilitate these important conversations. Essential questions include:

  • What are the attributes of high performing groups?

  • What is the Collaborative Learning Cycle?

  • How do we explore data using the Collaborative Learning Cycle?

  • How do we use the Collaborative Learning Cycle as a district’s data protocol for problem solving.

SCECH Hours – 5

This is a self-paced, online course that provides interaction with other participants and support from a Statewide Field Team instructor.
